movin' and groovin'

I have been saying for a while that "Jonas is on the move", but he keeps surprising me with his newest maneuvering abilities! He is still mostly "army crawling", occasionally lifiting his tummy off of the ground to go on his hands and knees. He can also push himself into a sitting position from lying flat on the floor. He has even pulled himself into a standing postion using the (open) dishwasher door as leverage! Do most babies with older siblings progress this quickly through stages of mobility? Probably. I am worried that unlike my other two kids, he's going to be a climber. Yikes.

If you'd like to see more pictures of Jonas on the move, click on the Stone Family Pictures link on my sidebar.

First of all, love the shirt, Jonas! I, for one, am thankful that Ellena has yet to get any forward mobility. She is a champion scooter, so I am sure it will be any day now. Ellena really misses her cousins!

I am wondering too with Ainsley. The girl is full on crawling now. But climbs up EVERYTHING. Walls, the piano, couches, chairs, the vacuum cleaner. She is walking along the couches all ready. Seriously unbelievable! She just can't get herself back down and screams. . . drives me nuts sometimes.

Ainsley is a girl on a mission!! I swear she is either trying to keep up with her brother, or just outdo him, because I don't remember him hitting the milestones like she has. With her it's literally over night!

Good luck. He sure is a cutie!

I hope it's not a third child thing. I've never had a climber before! AHHH!

I love the striped shirt! It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown! Found your baby gates yet??? Has he learned to go up stairs?
